What I do

Fixture, jig and tooling design

Weld fixtures, assembly jigs, drill and inspection fixtures, and tooling that make a job faster, safer or more repeatable. Designed to be built with the equipment and materials your shop already has.

3D models and shop-ready drawings

Inventor models and detailed drawings with clear dimensions, tolerances and materials, delivered as PDF and STEP files. Good for new parts, cleaning up old prints, or overflow when your own drafting is backed up.

Reverse engineering existing parts

Have a part with no drawing, or one that’s worn out and needs replacing? I’ll measure it, model it and give you a drawing you can make it from.

Work instructions and SOPs

Visual, step-by-step work instructions and standard operating procedures built from the actual models and the actual process, so new people get it right the first time.

About Derek

I’m Derek Webb. I’ve spent more than 17 years in manufacturing, from assembly and machine operation to running production and designing products.

That’s the point of GreenBeast. I design with the person who has to build it in mind, because I’ve been that person. My drawings are meant to be read on the shop floor, not just in the office.

I have a Drafting Design degree from Moberly Area Community College, Lean manufacturing training, and a background in technical writing.
